Uruguay, Italy, Germany, England, Argentina, France, Spain and Brazil who have been successful in bagging the trophy of the FIFA World Cup -either one of the other – since the first organization of this tournament in 1930 – have continued their journey to the trophy this time also. Nonetheless, Spain can prove themselves a great threat to other champion teams since their victory over the Netherlands by 1-0 in the final tournament held in the19th FIFA World Cup. Coincidently all the four world cups that had been hosted in S. America were beaten by the national teams of the very continents, It’s the ‘wait – and – see’ situation will they again be able to keep p the record?

This time the FIFA has announced to use a new and fair technology namingly ‘goal-line technology’ in the final matches in order to prevent controversy in the match. The technology which was developed by the German company Goal control and provided to the FIFA in Oct. 2013 is believed to be of much assistance to the referees on the ground that it was experimented flawlessly three times at the 2012 club WC, 2013 Club WC and 2013 Confederations Cup. Next new use will be of ‘Vanishing Spray’ in the final matches of this world cup. This spray which vanishes after a minute was successfully tested at the 2013 FIFAU-20 WC, 2013 FIFA U-17 WC and 2013 FIFA Club WC. This spray will be used during a free kick to mark the ten-yard line and the circle to put the ball.
